My style

I have been dreaming about having my own beautiful home, my own house for a long time and now we have it with my lovely husband! I am going to introduce you the house and all the projects we are going to make on it, because it requires a good bit of refurbishment! But we need to just wait for that as we are currently living 2000km away from it!

In the meantime I am going to share some bits of my own style! :) Yeah! :)
I have so many plans and ideas about it so far and I am so excited, although we don't exactly know how everything is going to look like yet.
I have many things, styles, ideas I like, but to create my own home, where I could imagine myself and my family living in, is a different story.
Ok, so basically my "official" interior design style is transitional. What is that mean? That is a mix of traditional and modern elements in a great balance, creating harmony together.
I adore cushions, yet touch of vivid accent colours in neutral schemes. I think combination of a neutral and a bold colour just works great! :) Eg: white-turquoise, chocolate brown-lime green, black-pink and so on!

I fancy traditional accessories such as vases, candles, artworks etc. I think all of these are handy to use, because once we get bored of the style we can easily replace them on a low budget, not to break our bank account. Practicality and clever storage is extremely important for me and clutter is out of question in my world. :)

I mostly prefer plain things, not too busy patterns, however I like stripes, chequers, dots, gingham etc.
Although I am not a fan of animal patterns or fur or any sort of animal-like things in terms of interiors. Leather is not so close to my heart either, but I am not against of that, as it can be super practical and elegant.
Fabrics take me to heaven, I am addicted to any kind (mostly natural ones) and the different materials, metals, timbers, glass. Love, love, love! :)

I am convinced that all natural materials as wood, clay, woven baskets, or rattan furniture are reliable and long-lasting elements and excellent to use if our goal is to create a warm and cosy interior.

Keywords are idyllic athmosphere, comfort, functionality, elegance and practicality! :)
Read on and get into my transitional magic world :)
